Overview
Reliable forged steel gate valves are a go-to option in flow control situations where there’s a need to toggle between two modes: fully open and fully closed. The high-quality forged steel components in these valves can stand up to intense pressure in petrochemical, oil and gas, and other high-pressure environments.
Smith Forged Gate Valves feature an outside stem and yoke (OS&Y) design and are available in Class 150–2500. They are offered with conventional or full ports and a variety of end connections, including threaded, socketweld, buttweld, and RF ends. All valves are manufactured in accordance with API 602 and ASME B16.34 standards and include API 624 qualified packing for low emissions.
