Smith Valves was founded in 1956 by James Dewolf Smith. This makes us one of the longest-operating providers of API 602 forged steel valves in the industry. We’ve spent the 60+ years since our founding building a reputation as a trustworthy and reliable partner for high-pressure industrial applications.
Our incorporation into the LPW Group in 2019 brought us into an alliance with like-minded brands that share our dedication to customer service, engineering precision, and meticulous testing. As part of this group, we’re prepared to offer custom forged steel valve solutions for another 60+ years.
The Smith Valves Mission
Smith Valves is dedicated to being the No. 1 option for industrial flow control applications that require forged steel valves in hydrofluoric acid, chlorine, oxygen, and other processes.
We’re determined to be both the fastest and most dependable option for any job. Our U.S.-based facility holds a large inventory, so we can deliver flexibility without compromising project timelines. Our dedication to in-house non-destructive evaluation (NDE) testing allows us to apply close scrutiny for quality assurance. Furthermore, our facility carries CE-PED certification, an API 602 designation, and a certified ISO-9001 quality system.
